Company History

Our history of building log homes dates back to 1977 when Rick Wheeler built his first home. After his initial home Rick went on to develop better log building techniques, being one of the first to pre-fabricate handcrafted homes.

Rick passed on his knowledge to his son Rob Wheeler who joined to company in 1995 and later partnered with Carl Lauren, who also shares a rich history in construction.

With combined experience exceeding 20 years, Tyee Log Homes specializes in the craft of building fine log structures.
