A Standard "log shell" package includes:
All logs hand peeled and handcrafted
Flattening of logs to accept framing elements
Door and window openings cut to rough opening sizes and " keyed " to accept window " bucks "
Door and window " bucks " cut to length
Wall slots cut to receive framing and finishes
Ends scroll-cut, sanded and bevelled
Screw jacks to accommodate settlement on log wall level vertical posts
All log floor and roof beams as required to satisfy engineering requirements
Electrical outlets, switches and fixtures mortised and drilled to accept wiring (if electrical plan given)
Initial coat of log fungicide to protect logs during pre-fabrication and transport
Supervision to erect your home
Support to you or your General Contractor while finishing your home
