LOG POST & BEAM HOMES

Log Post and Beam Structures offer the look and feel of log homes, while enabling a wider range of design options.  The logs are the structural "skeleton" of the home and unlike timber frame homes the structure is visible both inside and outside the home.  The structure is joined with traditional mortise and tenon joinery.  Between the log structure conventional framing panels are installed and finished with drywall on the interior and wood siding, hardi-board,  stucco, brick  or rock on the exterior.

After the structure is designed, a shop drawing is prepared for each log piece within the structure and our craftsmen select logs and fabricate each piece to fit within the structural frame.  Each piece is then labeled and shipped to the building site where it is assembled in its final location.

We offer a pre-fabricated infill system, made from conventionally framed wall panels and can be shipped with or without windows and siding installed.
